2/29/2024 3:30 PM Ahlsell strengthens its offering in the industrial sector in Norway through the acquisition of Industrivarer AS
Ahlsell Norge AS has entered into an agreement to purchase all shares in Industrivarer AS. The company supplies a wide range of tools, machines, supplies and personal protective equipment to industrial customers in Central Norway. The company has 20 employees and sales in 2023 amounted to 126 MNOK.
Since its establishment in 1980, Industrivarer AS has built up significant experience and expertise in the industrial sector where they are known among their customers for offering an attractive range of products and services of high quality. Store, warehouse, workshop and office are located in Namsos, from where they also run e-commerce.
With this acquisition, Ahlsell enhances its offering to professional customers in the industrial sector. As part of Ahlsell, Industrivarer AS will contribute with its deep industry knowledge, customized product ranges and good market knowledge. The acquisition also makes Ahlsell's delivery precision, high level of service, wide range of products and environmentally smart distribution solutions available to Industrivarer's customers.
The acquisition is subject to the approval of the competition authorities.
